Sage Vaughn lives and works in Los Angeles, California. Although he has been a painter for years, he only recently ventured to identify himself as an artist. Vaughn’s paintings feature bright, crisp swarms of butterflies, children dressed in costume, and bored policemen in the washed out tableau of urban life. His work explores the contrast and the overlap between the natural and human-made.
